This Privacy Policy describes how FastCalo AI: Fasting & Calorie Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, and to perform the core calculations of the app. This includes:

• Name: To personalize your profile.
• Age, Height, and Weight: These are strictly used to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and recommended daily calorie intake.
• Country: Used for localization (units of measurement) and compliance with local laws.
• Email Address: Used for account creation, password recovery, and support communication.

B. Usage Data

We collect data on how the Service is accessed and used, such as your fasting history, calorie logs, and feature usage. This helps us improve the app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service (tracking fasting and calories).
• To calculate accurate health metrics (BMR, TDEE) based on your physical attributes.
• To manage your account and subscription (Premium vs. Free).
• To provide customer support.
• To monitor the usage of the Service and detect technical issues.

3. Advertising (Free Users Only)

For users on the Free Account plan, we may display third-party advertisements. These third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) may collect information about your device (including your Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads.

Users with a Premium Account do not see advertisements, and their data is not used for ad targeting.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Processors

We use the following third-party services that may receive or process your personal data. Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policy and provides an equivalent level of data protection:

• Supabase (Database & Authentication) — stores your account data, health metrics, fasting history, calorie logs, and community content on secure servers. Supabase Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat (Subscription Management) — processes and manages your in-app subscription status. RevenueCat may receive your device ID and purchase history. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob (Advertising — Free Users Only) — displays third-party advertisements to users on the Free Account plan. AdMob may collect your device Advertising ID to serve relevant ads. Premium users are not subject to AdMob data collection. Google Privacy Policy

Apple Health & Google Health Connect

Currently, FastCalo AI does not connect to, read from, or write to Apple Health (HealthKit) or Google Health Connect. All health data entered into FastCalo AI (weight, calories) remains isolated within the FastCalo AI app and our secure servers.

5. Community Features & User-Generated Content

FastCalo AI includes community features (Feed, Groups, Challenges) where users can create and share content with other users of the app. By participating in these features, you should be aware of the following:

Visibility of Community Content

• Content you post in the Community (including posts, progress updates, and group activity) will be visible to other registered users of FastCalo AI.
• Your display name and profile information will be visible alongside your community posts.
• We recommend you do not share sensitive personal information (such as precise location, financial details, or medical records) in community posts.

Content Moderation

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community environment:

• Users can report objectionable posts using the Report Post feature. All reports are reviewed by the developer and appropriate action (including content removal or account suspension) is taken within a reasonable timeframe.
• Users can block other users using the Block User feature. Blocking immediately removes the blocked user's content from your feed and notifies the developer.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our Terms of Use without prior notice.

Data Retention for Community Content

Community posts and interactions are retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion (see Section 6), all your community posts and associated data are permanently removed from our servers.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

How to Delete Your Data

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app:

1. Open FastCalo AI.
2. Go to Settings > Account Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account (in the "Danger Zone" section).

Once confirmed, your account and all personal data (history, logs, profile) are permanently removed from our servers immediately.

7. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information during transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
